My G40 project is to conduct a study on running, pertaining to diet. I would like to find the optimal diet to increase speed. As I have been doing so, I have made serious progress. On February 5, I ran my control run, which I am using to base my experimental data off of. Eight days later, I finished my first trial run. This increased my speed from my control run by 0:00.08 seconds. Yesterday, I completed my second trial run, in which I used a different diet from before. This increased my speed from the control run by by 34.93 seconds, which I am very pleased with. I believe this is because I partially used syrup, which is high-glucose, fast-absorbing energy. I hope that as I complete my final trial in the next week, I may be as effective in increasing speed as I was this week.
