Bear Bear Mallet
Over the weekend my goal is to complete a cosplay prop of an OC (Original Character)that I drew from the show Akame Ga Kill. I am building it out of foam, a three foot long metal rod, white duct tape, packing tape, hot glue, and three different air brushes and tons of paint. The item I am making is a giant mallet covered in dots, spots, stripes, circles, and hearts. The colors I will be using are pastel blue, pastel purple, and light pink. I will have it completely finished and painted by next genius so you will see me bringing it in.

Animation Hits Reality
Today's genius hour progress report includes turning two Lego figures into combat partners in a stop motion animation. By taking pictures of each movement on the stage, we created the illusion of movement between objects. (Brice helped in producing this short test animation)

Max Troutman - Video Game Development 2#
OK, Here we go again. You didn't ask for another Post, but I'm going to type another Post for you. It's because I love you guys and I have the time to type up the Post for you. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
What I Am Doing With Development:
I am creating new characters and areas, New characters being: Pyramid, Sphere, And Octagon. I am planning to make the cars only attack you on the road. (Which makes sense because if just have them attack the player anywhere they want, the player will go chaotic and kill their computer like "Flappy Bird".) There will be weapons that you can purchase so you can increase you attack.
What I Am Doing This Week:
What I said up there! Weren't' you paying any attention! Sigh, I am doing those at home on my computer when I get home. I might add music, if I can create music and not just the beat. (By the way, in my last post I mentioned the game Undertale, Seriously check that game out.)
What I Accomplished This Week:
I accomplished some minor things such as character development, areas, and graphics. (Games take a while to make.) I am almost done with Cube, as I have not yet decided the color for him. The graphics I have devised consist of grass, "The Road", and a Stop Sign. (I quoted "The Road" because in the game... I'm not going to spoil it for you.)
Conclusion:
I am working very hard on this game and I hope to release it sometime in the spring. (That was for you all "Impatient Folks" who wait centuries for games.) If you want the game, by any chance, go to the Steam website and download the "Game Development Software" (Yeah, that's what it's called, even I could of thought of a better name for it!) Click play, search up my game, Geometric Shapes Crossing A Road, and you'll find it in the search. Well it's that time again, where I leave and not come back for another week or two. I hope you enjoyed this Post and maybe even learned something from it... OK, it's time to leave... Go home now... You have family right...? I'm leaving now... Bye... Adios... You want more don't you? Wait until next week please. Bye now.
Making A Car Out Of Household Material ( preview on how to make it.....)
For my genius hour project I have created a car that is moved by a rubber band and is made up of
household material. The material is a paper towel roll, 4 Cd's, 1 chopstick, a rubber band and colors to color it with. First cut the top of the paper towel roll. Then you need to poke two holes near the beginning of the paper towel roll and near the end of the paper towel roll and do that on the other side of the paper towel roll. Then you put the chopsticks through the two hole and connet it through the other hole, then do it again with the other hole. poke 8 water bottle caps in the middle and put four caps through the chopsticks, facing the way the chopstick ends. Do this all for all four chopsticks. Then, Put a cd on one end of the the chopstick so its touching the cap and put three more on the others chopsticks, to make wheels. Then put the other four caps on the other side of the CD and hot glue both caps on the CD. There are more steps but cant explain check out my car.
Me genius hour project is giving clothing to charities in need. Many people are in need of clothing and can't afford it or don't have any access to it. My purpose for this project is because many people take things for granted and I wanted to make people understand how much one thing can mean to somebody. In this project I am also working with Hannah Kolasa and Jenna Weidenheimer. We are currently waiting for a time when we can all get together and donate our clothing.

I am working with Izzy Romig to make inspirational posters, and hang them up in the hallway. These quotes are found off of google, but we give credit to who wrote them. The purpose of this is so students here can have a boost of confidence and feel better about school. We finished about 20 posters, and some are already hanging up in the hallway.

Luke's genius hour
For my project I put brakes on a go kart. I welded on new steel brake pads and they work really well on dry days. I also shortened the chain and it has not come off yet. I also changed the oil and tuned the idle so it wont zoom away when I start it.
Brice Dornblaser - Video Game Creation - Post 01
I am going to create a video game, or at least try to. I want to do this because I am very into video games and would like to see how much effort and time goes into making a video game.
So far I have finished creating the instructions for the game. I am now ready to start creating it. I do not have a title yet. I really hope this project will end successfully.

Genius Post 1-13-16
I am going to propel a rocket with plasma. I am thinking about how I will produce the plasma and how I will direct the plasma. I might use pressure to ignite a gaseous fuel. In the future I hope to address safety concerns.
Robot
I am making a robot. I am stuffing a cardboard box and putting sticks in them for arms. Then I put the cardboard box on the RC car. So far I have stuffed the robot with hard materials and I am putting the arms in right right.

Max Troutman Blog 1#
Welcome to Max Troutman's Blog! If you can read this, you can read... My genius hour project is to develop a video game called "Geometric Shapes Crossing A Road". Laugh all you want, that's the name I came up with. Read more for more info about my game.
Game Development and Information.
My game will be an RPG (Role Playing Game). For those of you who don't know what an RPG is,( And if you do know what it is just skip this tab.) An RPG is a game where you gain Level and Experience by defeating enemies with weapons that you acquire in the game.
I was heavily inspired by Crossy Road and Undertale and decided to make my own game. The game will be on the Steam website for FREE, no money required. If you have any questions, ask Max Troutman... But seriously, I won't be completely copying those games. I am making my own game. In Crossy Road you cross a road. In Undertale you hug random strangers on the sidewalk and meet a skeleton that can't stop making skeleton puns.
What I Did This Week.
I have came up with two characters two be added in the game, Cube and Sphere, but I have a ton of others that I will be posting every other week. I have started working on graphics such as grass, the road, and enemies such as cars, birds, and even airplanes.
What Did I Accomplish Today.
I am doing all of my work at home because the computer I work with has the software to actually DEVELOP the game ,and it has all of my progress. When I get to genius hour, I think of ideas and I take ideas from other students to add to my game. I thought of Pyramid to add to my game today and I have to add it to my game when I get home.
Well that's it, I will be posting on my blog weekly. Every week to be exact, so be sure to read every one to know how I am doing with this game. Be sure to like and subscribe... Wait... That's YouTube...
