Why we have dreams/nightmares

For my genius hour project I am researching why we have dreams and nightmares. I am also going to talk about what our dreams and nightmares mean, why they are caused. I plan to make a presentation showing what I have researched. I am also looking for a way to show how dreams and nightmares  affect our sleep.

    Dreams are always an interesting topic. Dreams were believed to predict the future at various points in history.
