Composing a Music Piece

          For my genius hour project, I'm writing my own music on piano and composing it. I have done research on how to improve writing music on piano. Since I already know how to write music, this shouldn't be too hard for me. The hard part would be coming up with how it would sound. I hope it turns out well and sounds great. I hope everyone likes it and enjoys it. It will be a few minutes long, and will have a waltz base.

UPDATE#1

           Besides the research, I have come to a problem. I don't want to only work on this project at home, so I've come to a question I don't know how to answer myself; how do I use a piano during Genius Hour? I'm still doing a bit of research but once I finish research, I would like to start writing the music but, that's where I'm stuck with figuring out how to use a piano during school. I think I'll be able to figure things out, and things will turn out okay.

UPDATE#2

          Recently I've been doing research on playing piano better. I looked up tips and ways to make the music sound better. Now that I've finished the research, I'm going to start writing the music at home. That's it for this update.

UPDATE#3

          Hey! Lately Iv'e been working on my project, and I'm still editing and correcting some spots in my music. I still need to come up with some more parts to it and make some things sound better. The piece is written in sections. I think of a part and play it, then I add it into the music. How it works is I'd be playing the part and when it ends, there's a little transition onto the next part and so on. The piece is based on a normal day basis, so it'll include the morning (beginning) throughout till nighttime (end). I'm still figuring out how long I should make the piece. I'd probably make it be around 5-10 minutes long.

UPDATE#4

          I've been working a bit more on my piece and it's starting to come together. I'm planning on writing the piece in sections. I'm still thinking on how many sections there will be. So far there are 6 sections and I'm still working on the 7th section. I think I might do 12 sections to the song, making it around 5-10 minutes long
